MMs did not manipulate ASND to 25. Nor did they manipulate the stock to 30. It ended just about half-way in between. Has anyone any idea why? In a market down 90 points on the Dow and up only 1/16 on the NWX? This is what I've seen: 1. The CNBC item stating that ASND was ripe for picking (could this be their way of restating the acquisition rumor without saying it in so many words?) 2. There is a fund that includes ASND in its portfolio. Any other news? Regarding manipulation by MMs to a close of 25: It looked all morning as if that was the plan. The plan seems to have been blown away by volume (again, it is easy to manipulate with low volume, much harder when volume is high). Gary Korn
