Gregory, very funny! i've thought the same about the specialist - he/she gets together with the staff at LaBranche in the morning and they flip a coin - "let's see, shall we put through a lot of fake-em-out sells today and send the stock down or a lot of fake-em-out buys and send the stock up?"

He/she then turns to the secretary who is filing her nails and chewing gum and asks her, "Hey, Trudy, what is it today up or down?"

Trudy answers after putting the gum behind her ear, "Well, send it down cause my cat got run over in the street by some hoodlum last night and that really upsets me" (replaces the gum in her mouth)

"Hey Bo (the LaBranch office chief), Trudy wants it down today, shall we send it down?"

Bo: "Heck, they issued some good news last night didn't they? 11 million retail Zips or Schmipps, or whatever they're called sold - or do they have a mail order business, what is it?"

"Well, Bo, TRUDY, had a bad night last night and it was her turn to pick!"

Bo: "But it's Christmas man!"

"Bo, Trudy's cat got shamoozled on the street"

Bo: "My wife was feeling irritable too (thinking, pausing), send it down. Merry Christmas to Trudy."
