This is just stupid. Of course he was the enemy. We were maintaining a no-fly zone, and he was firing on our pilots on a daily basis. And he had, for the entire term of the Clinton administration, led the US around by the nose. He had to be removed, the only question was when. Bush clearly did the correct thing in removing Saddam.
