Ted, here's an example of what's wrong with society today. From the NYTimes op-ed section: Why I Defaulted on My Student Loans Its only wrong in how you perceive the world should be. Germany has one of the highest standards of living in the world. Only China exports more products despite the fact that Germany is 1/10 its size in population..........yes, Germany exports more than the US even though it is less than 1/3 the size of the US. Germany produces some of the finest advanced equipment in the world. Its people are some of the best educated. Not only do its undergraduate university students not pay tuition, they also get a monthly stipend for monthly living expenses. This in a country that is average in terms of natural wealth. The US is fortunate in two regards...........it has untold natural wealth and a population that is badly misinformed if not downright stupid.
