Sorry to burst your bubble. It is perfectly legal to bribe someone to keep quiet unless it is to cover up crimes. Happens all of the time. In this case, the statute of limitations have long passed for what Denny allegedly did. So there would be no crimes to cover up.

I suppose he was trying to avoid public embarrassment. Which is ok, but in doing so he might have violated one or more laws. At least that is what the charges are.

Your mythical lawyer cannot practice law with being a member of the Bar. So try again.

Clueless as usual....both NH and MA have a unified bar...you can't be a practicing lawyer unless you belong to each bar association, dimwit.

You should observe the admonition of the old proverb....better to keep silent and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
