But what can you do since the market isn't open on Sat? Patriot, The individual can do nothing. However, an option will autmatically be exercised if it is more than 1/4 point in the money or likely will be. Thus, if an aquisition was announced after the close of market on Friday and it was annouced before Saturday at noon, a person holding calls would automatically exercise their shares if the aquisition was at a premium. There are other scenerios such as preannouced earnings, etc. Glenn
