Yeah, I watched it and was rooting for him for the last several innings. I wonder if he's related to Charlton.

This was only the third time the Mets were no hit in a Met stadium. I was at the first, a perfect game by Jim Bunning on Father's Day, 1964, at Shea. My buddies and I were rooting against him until the very end, although the crowd was otherwise giving him their full support. The other was in late September '69, by Bob Moose, a few days before ...er...clinching the division :)

Looks like it'll be the Cubs, Pirates and Mets fighting it out for the last seat on the lifeboat this year.
