New York Police Department Ramps Up Recruitment Of Muslim Police Officers
Infiltration

While terror threats to NYC is at an all time high and the murder in NYC has spiked under Red Bill DeBlasio, his new initiative is — to hire Muslim police officers.

Favoring one religion over another is unconstitutional.

“It’s changing every day; we are getting more and more recruits,” Lt. Adeel Rana, commanding officer of the community affairs immigration outreach unit said. “And as they see people of their own religion in uniform, their eyes brighten.”

This should be the goal of police departments across the nation – bright eyes.

“The more Muslims who work in the NYPD the better,” said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the terror group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “This is a way to break down the mistrust and create bridges in the community. Where an informant breaks down trust, a law enforcement officer builds it.” So a Muslim that helps law enforcement capture violent jihadis “breaks down trust” in the Muslim community? What side does CAIR think the Muslim community is on?

“New York Police Department Aims To Ramp Up Recruitment Of Muslims,” AP| By Colleen Long, June 08, 2015

NEW YORK (AP) – The New York Police Department is working to recruit more Muslims, and is asking for help within the community to better refine outreach aimed at stifling the lure of overseas terror groups, officials said Monday.

Right now, there are about 800 Muslim uniformed police officers out of about 35,000, according to the NYPD Muslim Officers Society. Of those, only about 20 are higher ranked officials. Lt. Adeel Rana, commanding officer of the community affairs immigration outreach unit, said there has been a slow increase over the past decade, but it has been rapidly changing in the past year and a half.

“It’s changing every day; we are getting more and more recruits,” he said. “And as they see people of their own religion in uniform, their eyes brighten.”

There has been an effort to increase openness and communication with the community since the new administration took over, stinging from a public outcry over the contentious stop , question and frisk policy and the surveillance of Muslims. A unit that investigated Muslims under the previous police commissioner was disbanded, and Commissioner William Bratton said Monday officials had worked hard to regain trust.

“We will not do anything to jeopardize that trust,” he said.

In an effort to reach out to more recruits, the NYPD is also expanding a cadet program where college students are given stipends and fast-tracked to a job. Rana said officers also attend community meetings and fairs. A video played during the department’s annual pre-Ramadan conference showed dozens of uniformed officers who are Muslim saying: “We are your NYPD.”

Muslim leaders said they are encouraged by recruitment efforts.

“The more Muslims who work in the NYPD the better,” said Ibrahim Hooper, a spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations. “This is a way to break down the mistrust and create bridges in the community. Where an informant breaks down trust, a law enforcement officer builds it.”

The outreach is also meant to counter efforts by overseas terror groups to radicalize youth over the Internet.

John Miller, the department’s deputy commissioner for counterterrorism and intelligence, said the department is working with Islamic leaders and community members to figure out how to get a counterterrorism message out on the same platforms.

While rebuilding the relationship, he said, officials are working to reinforce a message: “You’re one of our communities and we are your police.”

Egypt Summons U.S. Ambassador Over Muslim Brotherhood Visit

Obama continues to support and align with the violent jihad group that seek to undermine stable governments in the Middle East. His perfidy is breathtaking.

Ever since the people of Egypt elected President Sisi, a true voice of reform, Obama has sought his ouster in support of the terror group the Muslim Brotherhood. Obama is destroying every alliance the United States has with rational actors on the world stage. I warned of this in my 2010 book: The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War on America.

Obama help oust our 30-year ally in Egypt, President Mubarak, and install a jihad terror regime under Muslim Brotherhood top dog, Mohamed Morsi. When the people of Egypt rejected and threw out Morsi, Obama punished the people of Egypt by withdrawing critical aid.

Sisi is a visionary. He understands the jihad threat. He said:

Is it possible that 1.6 billion people [Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants—that is 7 billion—so that they themselves may live?

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi gave an extraordinary, groundbreaking speech on Islam back on New Year’s day.

Sisi said that the “corpus of [Islamic] texts and ideas that we have sacralized over the years” are “antagonizing the entire world”; that it is not “possible that 1.6 billion people [reference to the world’s Muslims] should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants

And to think that Obama opposed this visionary and supported the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood party. The President of the United States is backing the savages against so singular a voice for change. And it’s at the behest of their American proxies — Muslim Brotherhood groups in the US (CAIR, MAS, ISNA et al).

“Egypt Summons U.S. Ambassador Over MB Visit,” by John Rossomando, IPT • Jun 9, 2015

Egypt asked the U.S. ambassador in Cairo to account for the Obama administration’s allowing Muslim Brotherhood officials to visit Washington for a private conference this week sponsored by the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID).

Egypt sought the recent meeting with Ambassador Stephen Beecroft to show its displeasure with American policy toward the Brotherhood, which it labels a terrorist organization.

Delegation members include Amr Darrag, whose handling of drafting and ratifying Egypt’s December 2012 constitution led to fears the Brotherhood aimed to impose a theocracy; and Wael Haddara, a Canadian Brotherhood member who served as an adviser to deposed President Mohamed Morsi.

The administration has no plans to meet with the delegation, State Department spokesman Jeff Rathke said Tuesday. U.S. policy allowed for engagement with people from across Egypt’s political spectrum, he said Monday.

Emails obtained by Middle East Briefing, a publication of the Dubai-based Orient Advisory Group, show that since 2010, Obama administration policy sought to support the Muslim Brotherhood under Presidential Study Directive 11.

State Department and White House officials met in January with a Muslim Brotherhood delegation whose trip had been partly funded by the Brotherhood-linked group Egyptian Americans for Freedom and Justice (EAFJ). EAFJ leader Mahmoud El Sharkawy is a member of the Brotherhood’s international organization and serves as liaison between his group and Brotherhood members exiled in Turkey, Egypt’s Al-Bawaba newspaper reported in April.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki downplayed the visit and denied it was a Brotherhood delegation, saying it was a delegation of former Egyptian parliamentarians which included members of the Freedom and Justice Party. Delegation member Waleed Sharaby said in a February interview with Egypt’s Mekameleen TV that the State Department agreed with their position that Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi had not brought stability and that his removal would pave the way for a transition to democracy.

Such calls for violence have been reflected in the Facebook accounts of EAFJ members. El Sharkawy’s Facebook page supports violence in Egypt in posts such as a Feb. 10 communiqué from the Popular Resistance Movement (PRM) which has launched attacks against Egyptian police and other targets. It features an image of a blood-red map of Egypt with a fist superimposed over it and claims responsibility on behalf of the PRM for targeting two police cars. It also stated the following motto in Arabic: “God, martyrs, Revolution.”

Other members of EAFJ such as board member Hani Elkadi, who identified himself as a Brotherhood member in a March 9 post, have postedsimilar images on Facebook
