I'm pretty sure I heard of the global warming from CO2 emissions theory before you did. At first, I figured there might be something to it. Though I knew there was no way the nations would stop using fossil fuels regardless of whether the theory was right or wrong. But the more I read about it, the more reason for doubt there was. Then the climategate email release showed that politically driven climate activists were running the major climate agencies and ACTING like they were faking the whole thing. Hiding and destroying data. The revelations of major historic temperature revisions which have changed the shape of climate charts are the nail in the coffin. The whole climate field has been corrupted and politicized. I blame Al Gore, first as a Senator, then as Vice President as being the biggest single corrupting force. Though the con is now self sustaining.
