Joe and Fuchi,

Photoshop also needs a fast disk. Remember the benchmarks that made the 6x86MX look better than it really was due to the Seagate Cheetha
(sp?) drive that was used? Those large images must be streamed off the disk.

Pravin.

Joe,

You are right about 64MB for photoshop. I upgraded my T2P4 from 48MB to 64MB and noticed the performance improvement on Photoshop.

I am thinking to upgrade my Asus T2P4 to SP97-V and add total memory to 128MB since SP97-V could cache up to 128MB while T2P4 needs extra cache tag.

All the cache tags I could find are 15ns. I am not sure if these 15ns cache tag is good enough to run under 83Mhz bus speed. Once tasted the performance edge of 83Mhz with M2, there is no way that I would give it up to exchange for more memory.
