PETE:
UTEK looked reasonable today, but it seems to have had prices that look alot like many others in high tech. (like INTC & MSFT). OTH, LAM (LRCX) was very strong early when all the others were off. It was strong yesterday as well. (I have 5 day charts on my stocks that I can see in a single window from this site: bigcharts.com

I heard a rumor that there was some takeover talk, for LAM. Could also be speculation that these semi cap equip stocks are so cheap that some of the biggies with cash might go shopping. Or some bargain hunters are shopping or the tax loss sellers (those that got AMAT in the 50's) have sold their last shares and the downward pressure is abating.

For what its worth, I was just showing a friend a chart for INTC and MSFT that goes back to when I bought in '93. It makes me remember that if we apply the same growth to UTEK, then it really isn't too important if you get in at $18, $24 or even $28 as long as you get in before it goes to $40 as BB predicts or even higher in the long term.
