Right. Because ABC is a widely respected scientific journal... Just like when Time magazine announced global cooling back in the 1970s. They were trying to grab eyeballs. They didn't bother to figure out the energy requirements to melt that much ice. Probably didn't have a clue as to how high the heat of fusion of ice is. When the idea of global warming started to creep into the media in the early 1980s, there was concern about coastal flooding. I had to point out that while it will happen, it won't be any time soon. It takes a lot of energy to melt that much ice.
