What occurred was very odd. I used Tigerdirect to send an item to my mom back in 2008 and about 10 subsequent purchases have been sent to my home address. I was expecting the latest delivery and checked my email to get the status of the tracking number and my mom's address was listed as the destination. I called Tigerdirect told them the situation and they said not a problem that she could refuse delivery or if it was delivered while she was out, they would provide a return label to send it back for refund. They also offered free shipping for a second purchase to be sent to the correct address and I did that. Then this morning my mom finds the first purchase on her porch and so I call them, but today they decided they needed to open a case number to determine whether they would give me a shipping label to return the first package. Meanwhile, I have a second purchase coming to my home. What they told me yesterday and today are completely different.

not so

Amex went to Tiger who showed them the charge, and, in spite of the name being different, AND the city being different, Amex refused to give a credit til I escalated the dispute (being a member since 1963 helped)
