I agree that they would be expanding to both media. But their "mind time" would be making a major shift away from the web. While the investment advice that comes from the fools can be questioned, they have certainly pioneered a new and important method of communication.

Learning how to use the radio medium effectively takes effort and the weekend schedule would constrain their schedule. Yet their web site will face continual challenges. How can readership be increased? How do they incorporate new demographics enabled by sub 1K PCs? How to not lose all their readership to the Brinker site? <g>

So I claim if they want to propagate their investment advice, they will be more effective sticking to the web and to provide it with new innovations that allow it to adapt. If they are looking to advertise their site, they should out bid the gasoline futures folks for local ads on Bob Brinkers Moneytalk.

But maybe they are saying that they don't believe that the web can become as effective as radio? If so, they will be wrong!
