The North-South Divide on Two-Parent Families (7 out of 10 states with the lowest number of two-parent families are former confederate states in the Bible Belt, including the lowest 5. None of the 10 states with the highest number of two-parent families are from the south) Wow. Another pretension of the South blown right out the water. A German friend once compared the South to the former GDR...........and I think the comparison is apt. The South is like a separate nation within the US.
