There are dozens of network security companies popping up. No doubt there is going to be consolidation, mergers and acquisitions in the market. Truthfully though I have no idea how to pick or who or how to pick winners in that space.

I started a thread on it... got a little busy with work... I mean't to buy in but never made the plunge. Missed making a lot on FEYE. I almost bought in at 35 and got cold feet because they are not making any money yet. Oh well you can't catch every one.

Glenn Petersen just posted half a dozen companies ready to IPO.

Kaspersky just got hacked, according to a client I just worked for who is a Qualcomm systems guy it was a DDoS attack but none the less that just shows this is going to get desperate. Its going to take the best of the best minds out there to win against the attackers. So I think consolidation is inevitable.

PRLB beats

3Ds... I must admit I was loosing faith in PRLB and bailed during the Greece/China thing... looks like I should have been more investment minded. Not sure if I'll be getting back in. AMBA, drones and ILMN are businesses that will affect everyone.

PRLB is really for designers, engineers who need low cost prototyping. Its a great company I think, well managed, forward thinking... I'm gonna have to think about things this weekend.
