some bucks out of the birthing experience.
There is--it's called welfare.
Oh---I'm bad. I'm sorry. And at Christmas. Smack me.

Sitting in the dentist's office, (where I do all my heavy reading and research-don't you?)I came across a wonderful quote by Ray Bradbury that made me think of us all here at DAR, so I scribbled it down on the back of a grocery receipt, which I found tonight as I cleaned out my pocketbook, weeks later.

We have art so that we do not perish in the truth. That's what art is for. In our daily lives, we are making do. Things get rougher as we go along, but we make do. We lose love; we lose people; we lose jobs. And the remarkable thing about the human race is the ability to survive. We survive by fantasizing. Take that away from us and the whole damned race goes down the drain.

Well-it spoke to me. And after taking the trouble to copy it, I thought it deserved a viewing. And who better than by my friends in fantasy?
Nietszche: "The so-called realists are trying to drive us insane."

I remember being born.
I described this memory to my momma and the school psycher at the age of seven.
I really do remember being born.
I have some other memories from very early.
Of course, finding where I put the car keys is a whole 'nother thing.
