Hello! Bill and Eddie and all CVIA thread participants,

First! Eddie! I don't know why a trade at .60 cents showed up on CVIA in Sept, or Oct.? ( The only thing I can think of is that it was a "typo" or some sort of "printing glitch" in the system, that just never got corrected or revised on the historical pricing data!).

Bill, off the top, I don't have a specific answer to your question! But what does come to mind is that maybe Jack Arnold is trying to get an idea, if there might be enough support from our CVIA participants and people that he is in contact with, that in case there was an opportunity to do a timely shareholder vote where a majority was needed, at least then Jack would have a specific list of shareholders that might be willing to vote in favour of a merger, provided they liked the details! As a minimum I think it would definitely speed up the process, and most definitely save us shareholders, a lot of potential $$$ going on needless expense!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.

P.S. Eddie? Have you read the suggested CVIA Shareholder Action Plan on CVIA Posting #1161. ( Have you made a decision?)

Greetings To All Patiently Waiting CVIA Shareholders!

For those of you that have had an opportunity to read CVIA Posting #1161, and have decided to follow up , I think that you might find the following estimate to be of interest!

As a minimum, no less than " 15 " CVIA shareholders and CVIA thread participants, have indicated that they have e-mailed their CVIA share holding count, to CVIA to the attention of Mr. Jack Arnold, CEO of CVIA!

I can only guess but I would imagine that many more shareholders have also sent their update to Jack Arnold today via e-mail!

If any one else chooses to do so, and via there own free will and free choice, can also indicate that they have also done so , by making a posting on this thread! ( Your share count, is something that I feel that you should only be sharing with Jack Arnold, and certainly do not post your share holding number on this thread! This is your own private financial affair!)

However it would probably prove motivating and interesting to the rest of us CVIA shareholders that have e-mailed our information already to Jack Arnold!

I think "15" confirmed , in such a short period of time is an indication ( at least to me!) that the current CVIA shareholders on this thread, see the merger process moving forward in the right direction, and we are looking for a way to support Jack Arnold's efforts, and to contribute to the best financial outcome for our hard earned investment dollars!

I have a hunch/feeling that if Jack Arnold see's an overwhelming number of shareholders e-mailing him shareholding information, it can only add to his motivation and enthusiasim, to work even harder, to a profitable outcome, if he knows we are truly supporting his concerted efforts! ( My feeling is the sooner that Jack Arnold feels that he has the backing and support of a majority shareholder vote, I think this will enhance the chances of moving the merger to a swifter and more favourable outcome! ( Just my own personal opinion!).

A final thought! ( for now!)

My guess is that there is a multitude of additional readers on this CVIA thread, who currently cannot make postings on this thread, as maybe they are not yet Silicon Members!

However, a large number of them could very well be CVIA shareholders! It would be interesting for all of us CVIA shareholders( just my own opinion!) if we had an idea of how many additional CVIA shareholders have read our CVIA posting #1161, and have responded via e-mail to Jack Arnold at CVIA!

Here are a few possibilities, to gather up a liitle more idea, of how many of us CVIA shareholders have in fact e-mailed the Shareholder Count to CVIA!

#1. If any of the CVIA shareholders or participants on this thread, find or hear of any additional individuals possibly on some other threads, or you may know them personally ( a neighbour, friend, relative, etc!) that have sent an e-mail to CVIA, would you consider posting the details on this thread? ( And remember, we do not want their sharecount posted on this thread! It's their personal information! But maybe you can just indicate that a person or two persons and so on did e-mail CVIA!----Do not mention the person's name! That is their private business!)

#2. If there are readers of this thread that are unable to post on this thread, as they are not yet members, feel free to send an email if you want to just confirm that you have sent the information via e-mail to CVIA, as per CVIA Posting #1161! ( Remember! I do not want to know what your shareholder count is! That is between you and CVIA!)---- Please feel free to do this until the close of Business Monday, December 22, 1997!--after which time I will withdraw my offer! ( Reason being, I feel time is of the essence, and if we don't get the e-mail date to CVIA by close of business Monday, December 22, 1997, the information will probably become much less impactful after that point in time!)----Once again just my own opinion!

My e-mail address is wcyba@ampsc.com

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
