CFV is going to ultimately be a holdout play for when DeBeers eventually makes a buyout bid for MPV. I wouldn't hold my breath for this right now. Before this, however, the powers that be must wrestle control over the decision making of the company(ie, take control of the board of directors), This will take place in March or April, I suppose. Also, CFV has other assets than MPV, such as this oil exploration interest it recently spent some of its precious cash on. Current management is not very shareholder friendly, to say the least. In fact, one could make an arguement that they are scum. But, thats obvious from the price behavior of the stock.
