Hi Elmo- Have a Great Christmas and Happy New Year...Nice to see that you are still around. I continue to hold a small position in Novell but we have not yet turned the corner but progress has been made.

I have moved a large portion of my Novell holdings over to Sun Microsystems. I really like their management and they always have quite a few 'new' product announcements each week. I really think that a Sunw and Novell match would indeed work out especially with the embedded JAVA and E-commerce development. Perhaps we might still see something with these two companies in the future.

By the way I got a chuckle from Mr. Lawrence Petkus's posts as they seem to be right on. Especially his quote "I don't read frog intestines(I'm not technically oriented.)"....that was good!

Check out SUNW's PE and the network related projects they continue to develop.

Finally, I also believe Salah did point out a very interesting event with regards to Bay Network's hiring some of the independent analysts/contract writers. It seems to me that this might be a very inexpensive way for Novell to start to change the current "mindset" of MSFT NT products vs Novell products. Nothing else that Novell has done regarding marketing has worked so far....why not try something different.

Best of Holidays
