I can see that it would not make a difference to you if Jesus was God, a god, part of a trinity, or anything else. "As Jesus supposedly, (rose from the dead), did." You are not of our sort. Studying scripture does more than reveal areas in which we can improve spiritually. It is essential that we do so with the right objective. Our objective should be not merely to take in facts and knowledge but to come to know God as a person. If we come to know our Creator more intimately we will not be unduly disturbed if certain Bible accounts leave us wondering why he acted as he did. Be assured that our appreciation will grow in proportion to the efforts that we put forth. This goes also for our relationship with others and how we communicate with them.
