The bible is tribal myth. The conceit, the vain glorious boasting, the genocide, rape, incest, and self serving arrogance is disgusting. If you want to be a good person you can follow any number of paths. There is no necessity to sell your birthright and to denounce reason and common sense. I know it comforts you to belong to a group where you can pretend to have all the answers--but this sort of comfort is for weaklings and those who are incapable of personal integrity. Amazing how they pretend to know all the answers but not see this for what it is, this bore reposting.
