What point are you trying to make? Do you think the people here are typical of Republicans and conservatives, and you think they don't support Social Security and Mediciare? That they are typical Republicans and don't support those entitlements? What are you getting at. Also what do you mean by "supporting Social Security"? I think it was a bad idea (at least the particular form it took), but I don't think getting rid of it now is very practical, and that isn't just a point about the politics of getting rid of it.
