Dave, Since I just got in with MAVK this week and not familiar with the other three companies, I can only give you some information about MAVK. I won't give you any recommendation on long or short, you judge by yourself. 1) Jeffries et al. has 12-month target price for MAVK at 45-55 based on solid EPS growth rate. MAVK has a forward PE growth ratio at 0.21. It's price:sales ratio at a bit over 1. Excellent balance sheet. 2) Poised to report good earnings for the next several quarters. Good earnings momemtum. 3) Oil sector is set to outperform the whole market in 98. good luck, larry
