Regardless of which firm the broker he references comes from, the manner in which the broker advised this guy (if he is to believed) which involved zero caution as expressed, is quite alarming, much moreso if GMP or whatever firm the broker works for ends up being listed as an underwriter in any upcoming raise.

A reco from a broker , buy or sell, is not anything out of the norm but the over the top description GMPInvestor gives of his brokers guidance paints GMP in a very bad light, imo. Caution to the wind is not how they are supposed to conduct themselves or in the very least that's not how any firm would like to be perceived.

As I said, if it turns out that GMP or Mackie (if the broker/firm he references is actually Mackie) are listed as underwriters then it will certainly raise red flags.
