why did I think you would have any different opinion about the Confederate flag as you are a Razorback.

The absurdity of the flag issue is something. Its not just the flag...........its what the flag represents. The South continues to celebrate the antebellum South despite the fact that it was a very bad period in this country's history. Its the equivalent of the Germans celebrating the rise of Nazism which they don't. Southerners have so watered down what happened, lamenting how northerners don't understand the complicated relationship the South has with race; that Dylann Roof was nuts and a drug addict; that its really about states' rights. Its all mumbo jumbo BS so you don't have to deal with the truth. And the truth is the South is raising another generation of race obsessed asshats ..........and one of them walked into a church and murdered 9 people this past week. It doesn't surprise me that Roof was from Columbia, SC..........I spent 10 long months in that backward town. Southern pride............its as if the Germans celebrated Nazism. Bless your sweet hearts!
