Syquest bails on SCSI SparQ

Rocky received a very interesting and informative response from Tay Bass at Syquest stating among other things: "SparQ will be available in only 2 configurations for PC, external parallel port and internal EIDE. There No plans for a SCSI version of the SparQ."

(Ref: Post #40859 on the Any info about Iomega (IOM)? thread)

Tay goes on to say: "SyQuest remains dedicated to the Macintosh community, as it always has." <snip> "The Mac community is where SyQuest grew up :-)" <snip> and signs off with: "Tay Bass, Inside Sales Lead (and one of 29 million Mac users)"

As a long time avid Mac user who has purchased and used a host of quality Syquest products in the past, (and regardless of my bearish opinion of SYQT stock), my reaction is simply: Bull.

BTW, thank you Rocky for this info.

Regards - Dale
