You think the confederate flag is sort of like the swastika.

Not sort of.......it is exactly like it. The fact you don't see that shows just how far behind the curve you are.

You would be the first to be disgusted if the Germans celebrated the rise of the Nazis but you have no problem with celebrating the rise of the Confederacy. It is so clueless it would be hilarious if there were not serious consequences to that way of thinking. See Charleston/last week.
