I apologize for coming across in that way. Just want to refer to Genesis 2: 4 where it states: " This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven. After outlining the creative days the whole creative period is referred to as "day." For our purpose here, I am keeping it simple saying that there are many uses for the word "day" as it refers to other units of time of varying length. In both the Hebrew and Greek Scriptures the word "day" (Heb.,yohm/yom; Gr., hemera) is used in a literal and in a figurative or even symbolic sense.
