Hey Jer,

I KNOW what you are talking about... but I am SO far ahead of you it will take years to catch me...<gggg> I use the VIX to pick market turns and moves and so far, it has been correct since I started using it in August.

For example, we are under a "Unified VIX buy" AND under a partial VIX sell. This happened once before when we had such a buy on Nov 11th and about a week later a partial sell. Then there was a unified buy a week after that. ALL those signals were appropriate.

I have found the use of VIX to be much more complex than a simple OVER 35, buy signal... In fact, up until recently, Bernie considered a move ABOVE 20 and then a fall back UNDER 20 to be a strong buy signal. Frankly, I beleive he is winging it at this point and really doesn't have a clue!

BWDIK?
