Jeffrey, from what I understand no other plan offered the degree of choice and flexibility for patients than Oxford's Freedom Plan - hence it's popularity and number one ranking among patients. I am very aware that modeling occurs extensively and that Oxford probably did its best (?); my point is that Oxford's plan was at the extreme end of what has been tried before. Even extensive modeling in such a case would seem to be insufficient when compared to something like life insurance tables. This seems to be your point, too, and I didn't mean to belittle the standing of the profession. Mike
