but what did you think of the resilience of the market today, bill? this one's got quite a bit of steam in it still, no? from djia -300 to dja -70 in a couple of hours, and the naz actually in positive territory! i like this market (and this market likes me).

Bill, my sense is that the herd is now going into bonds. Bonds outperformed Stocks since summer and therefore I anticipate less inflows into stock funds.

I do think that the recent drops in the market put many on notice and those chaps will try to "difersify". If I am correct all the growth/hi-tech funds underperformed, and that by itself will slow the money flow.

Next stage will be outflow from stocks but only by second half of January, after several high profile earnings disapointments.

SEAsia and Asia in general it's not just going to disapear by X-mass, it will linger for several months and the US market will feel the impact - lower corporate earnings flat to down
