So far, Del's a dud!

In the year since Del took over Borland's stock price is just where it was. (of course I loaded up at 10-11). All current products have nothing to do with Del, and the VSGN thing really gets under my skin. Does anyone remember Philippe Khan's exact same move to get into the enterprise by buying Dbase at an outrageous price?

If these power mad leaders would only let Borland tech people develope the best programming tools and nothing else - Borland would be back in the 80's (stock price that is).

OK, so Del saved the company some money by cutting a few heads. As they say here in Brooklyn - BIG F--k'in deal!

Delphi turned this company around and Jbuilder will be the growth engine and maybe the "prize apple for picking"; Not a thing to do with Del. I really should have paid more attention to that Kramer guy on CNBC who told the world that Del was just another CEO who likes to play with other people's money and puts up none of his own.
