Sowbug; Jobs must walk the plank. He has no ongoing role at AAPL, staying in the wings the way he does means he will screw up any new direction the new CEO wants if it does not agree with Job's view.
Yet he will not do the right thing, he is like the boorish guest at a party who stays till the end and makes it end early due to his presence.
His three months runs out in January, after that I go on the attack.
Those people who took other work instead of joining AAPL, they were right. If jobs stays where he is he will ride AAPL down to a nickel, and then buy it like a toy in conjunction with his buddy at Oracle.
He has resented being forced out and this is his revenge.

So far not earth shaking stuff from Rhapsody. Works on some models and will soon work on others(Might be real slow though on the older ones) AAPL share continues to fall. Graphics/music still strong, but losing steadily to Wintels as they Wintels get very cheap now. Education is still losing, and that hurts as you lose large blocks when the convert to Wintel(whole schoolboards) and no new schoolboards are joining en masse. The small LCD junior computer?, how is that doing. A school near here bought 30 to test in a class.(the e-mate)
