In addition to IE using Bing as the default, Firefox uses Yahoo as the default. Together the two browsers have majority of desktop market share.

I think Safari uses Google, but there is talk of them changing. They don't have a huge desktop share, but they have some and also have a significant minority shares on phones and tablets.

On any of those devices you can use another browser if you want to but on phones and tablets most people keep the default. Google has the biggest share on the phone, and now on tablets as well, but hardly a monopoly.
