Tim

Do you use the Holt report for your biggest losers list or is there a better source?

To answer your other question, I trade online with Etrade - 19.95 per trade. I try not to get too greedy especially when I can't keep close watch. I seem to get out too soon a lot, but that never bothers me much if I have made a little. What I need to work on is getting out when nothing is happening and move on to something else.

Not fair to start this thread and then leave for the Holidays :)

TL : Thanks for your time and explanation. Sorry for responding so late. Just back from some much needed vacation. I appreciate your thread, and expect to follow it closely in an attempt to learn to scalp successfully.

I like your price range (4 to 30) and the volume idea makes sense too (over 600k) . I have been "bitten " by the low-volume bug. And I stayed sideways in those stock . Missing opportunities elsewhere.

Have you thought of using a stock screener that might give you the stocks that fit your "profile" that you are looking for?

By the way, what kind of (real time ) source do you have when you are watching the "bid and the ask" volume you mentioned in your reply? Would you mind telling me what I can expect to pay a month? As I am considering a couple sources in lieu of mine.

Do you execute right from your quote source? Or which broker (s) have you been successful with.

These may be "re-runs", by now, as I have been away for some time. But , I would appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks . . .Best of trading

Jaytee
