"If one views our Creator as such and as a loving parent there is a certain outlook, a reasoning, that go along with this view."
Of course, you are correct:

Loving parents do not advocate and support genocide.

Loving parents do not practice racism.

Loving parents do not torture their children.

Loving parents do not call incest and impregnating your own daughters over two nights of drunkenness..."righteous" and "good".

Loving parents do not preside over butchery and rape.

Loving parents do not drown their innocent children.

Loving parents do not advocate human sacrifice.

Loving parents do not burn animals. They do not burn humans.

Loving parents do not make laws upholding slavery and the treatment of humans as animals.

Loving parents do not teach that women are inferior and undeserving of equal rights.

So here is the question: If your actual earthly father acted like the fictional, primitive, uncivilised, uncouth tribal god cobbled together in the tribal tales of your "scriptures", would you tell us how much you love him and how wonderful and moral you think he is??? Because that would tell us a lot about you, wouldn't it???

"Rather, the rightful administration of justice was involved in both cases"

Then we are doing it all wrong, aren't we? If justice means killing babies and random people who have nothing to do with a crime, then our presumption of innocence and our eschewal of cruel and unusual punishment for the guilty is simply wrong and unjust.
