Give Bobby a break. He wants to be president. The best way to do that would to show how Republican principles and theories of governance can turn a state into a utopia. The problem, though is Republican ideas and theories don't work, have never worked and result in chaos. So in state after state where these experiments have been run, the state finances crater, the infrastructure falls apart and the state economy tanks. Chaos ensues. Just as predicted.

What makes Jindal's case particularly pathetic is how badly he wants to be loved by his white R colleagues. Instead of using whatever brain he has, he uses it court favour like you suggest. And the state of LA suffers for it.

Look at the states where (R)'s have total control. The majority are disasters, with Kansas and Louisiana leading the list. Where the whole 'Voodoo' Republican economic program has been instituted. The taxes were cut, but the revenues did NOT go up as modeled!

A few are doing OK, like Texas, for reasons that have nothing to do with governance.
