It's possible that all of them were talking bad about the kids, 3 in Yiddish and then 2 in Chinese. That's prolly a better possibility. "If your folks would speak it with a goy, that would show I'm right and they're wrong." Not unless you knew what they were talking about. I didn't, so, from my viewpoint, it really was sneaky-talk. Bob went to med school in Chicago, and lived in a Jewish area. Learned Yiddish, and how to read Hebrew. He used to prepare boys for their bar mitzvahs.
