<<Dale: Try an initial tie ratio of six plus a tie ratio of two for the installed base (on yearly basis).>>

What's even more amazing is that as momentum picks up, selling drives that is, the use of the media will become mind boggeling (sp?)

The first million drives took eleven months, and it got easier after that, no? Will the first 10 million took a while to achieve, however, the next 10 million drives will take less time to sell. Thus momentum will explode and so will the media.

Bill, Thanks - re: "Try an initial tie ratio of six plus a tie ratio of two for the installed base (on yearly basis)."

Forecasting might get a little tricky however with such a large and growing percentage of initial sales going through the boxmakers. Another new factor will be the impact of the notebook Zip. I believe the tie ratio for notebook owners will be the highest of all Zip users.
