Normally, I would agree. An el niño happens because of a few degree variation in water temps. That in and of itself is surprising......that weather could be effected significantly by such a small change in temps. But what we are seeing with this el nino is an intensity factor I have never seen before. Its as if an accelerant has been added to mix...........just like with the winter weather in the NE this past year. Its surprising.......not sure what to make of it.
