Sometimes they do. And experiment with them, because who doesn't like rainbows and unicorns? And sparklies!!

Sooner or later, those experiments blow up and it generally takes years or decades to recover from them...

Yeah, we're watching that play out in Greece right now. They may leave the Euro and tell the austerity bankers to GFY. Then instead of striking a deal and getting maybe half their money, the austerity assholes will get NONE.

That will start Italy and Spain, much bigger troubled debtors, to start to think about their own Euro exits. When that's looming, the whole Euro idea is at risk. The austerity bankers will really be sweating bullets then..

Dave don't want no liberal economics! He's got his own right wingnut economics! The only problem is, no governments listen to them.

Oh some gov'ts do........and it leads ultimately to their downfall.

What amazes me about Dave is how he falls for the true crazies like Palin and Carson.
