Dr. Bond,

I'm glad you're okay. I was worried about you; knew you must have been hit very hard by this financially and also credibility with clients and such. I hope you get through it okay, and that we all do. This was an expensive experience for most of us.

Tell your wife I said "hello" too, and invite her to our tea party with Ms/Dr Tuna.

Linda

Dr. Bond,

Good to hear from you again! Of course you qualify for special newlywed dispensation to post less frequently than before (especially in the evenings <gg>), but I hope you continue to add your insights and comments to this board. You've been the soul of this board for a long time.

Many people here (including me) have lost money due to recent events, but we made our OWN decisions with the best information available at the time. No need to blame yourself for expressing your basic beliefs in this company. MY beef continues to be with Vivus management and who on the 'street' knew and continue to know about any possible lingering improprieties about this company.

Your comments are well taken. My concerns and questions are admittedly based on very simple assumptions and my basic understanding of market forces and concepts (medical school is a poor preparation for real life). My inexpert belief is that we've not hit rock bottom yet (especially now in light of the Barron's article) but that Vivus may make a strong run over the next 2 quarters if production issues can finally be put to rest.
