<< Well, you would have! Because at the same time he was pushing for everyone to short US
bonds >>

He didn't push anyone to do anything. He simply stated his views and made arguments to support his case. So what if he was wrong? Every single guest that comes on CNBC gets something wrong. I don't even listen to 90% of what they say.

<< He, as I recall in his own words stated "There is no
way in my life time that we see the 30 year bond at 6%", and in fact he practically put his life
on the line that the the yeild will be at 8% or higher by October/November time frame (of the
year 1997)!!! >>

That's not what he said.

<< And besides I do not recall him stating to short Hong Kong until after the
HangSang market had dropped to under the 11000 level (where it currently is and most likely
will be the bottom)! >>

Open mouth insert foot. Hong Kong looks shakier than ever. He said he was ADDING to his shorts. (i.e. shorting MORE). Obviously you don't have your facts straight.

<< Anyway, you seem to have some sort of fascination with Jimmy The Rodgers! >>

I do? You are the one who uses inflammatory names like idiotic, moronic etc. What did you do? Short the 30 year at 7%? Blaming Jimmy for it?

<< However I suggest you follow this guy a bit more closely before making such statements! >>

Suitable advice for you as well.

<< I, relutantly and regretfully, have to see and listen to him every Friday
morning on CNBC since I watch CNBC's SquawkBox show every day! >>

I look forward to hearing him on Fridays.
