Yep, its liberals who have the hope that despite irreversible environmental damage, we can still get it together and save the planet with Science PLUS Faith communities; not united in core beliefs, but not mutually exclusive in earthly objectives.

Indeed, recently----of all things "worldly" it's this coming together that gives me true hope---not the illusion of---.

Very proud of this pope, as a human being, for going against the conventional line and bringing the myriad coalitions together---for one common core belief, as you describe it, caring for the only our home, our only home, the only sacred ground we've ever known----Dave Carter/Tracy Grammer

C_O....I know this preaching to and with the choir......re: RW/AGW...........What I don't get about the the people who vote for them Koch-sponsored candidates----let's say that this whole thing is one big hysterical lie of epic proportions which would have to involve scientists from all corners of the world being in on it-----China colluding with the USA? Oh yeah!

Why don't they care enough to make these changes that not only reduce our GHG's, but at the same time clean up the air and water that they too breathe and drink? Their kids, etc....I find this puzzling---extremely.

Not to mention the new net jobs----Musk is will be putting a whole lot of people to work in Buffalo. It'll be interesting to follow that story....how this population's attitudes and "beliefs" re: AGW shift as the paychecks start coming in----all without their faucets transforming into bunsen burners.
