There may have been a problem with the Ubuntu download or the ISO burn to CD/DVD, but the install should begin quickly.

I would try to boot windows normally and make sure everything is still normal there and do a new Ubuntu download with an alternate link.

Also you probably don't have to change your bios to boot from CD.

In most cases, you can press F12 at the beginning of the boot process to start the bios boot menu and select the CD/DVD from there.

I didn't know there was an Ubuntu 15.04. Being such a cutting edge release, maybe it doesn't support some older hardware. You might try 14.04 and see if that works better.
