Re: NMS and margin

I am still unclear about this. Did the fall off in price hurt us on that? Does the company have to re-apply, etc? I take there are different criteria for listing and for margin?

Who is planning to go to Denver for the meeting? I hope to, especially if the good news keeps coming, but may not be able to swing it.

Sandie-- i try not to look for a price at that multiple as I am mostly short term, actually 100% short term on every issue. TPRO is the second longest holding at this time. I expected it to hit double digits before now but the avg daily volume has precluded that possibility. NMS listing should see an immediate 3/4 to 1.5 pop that should sustain. That listing will allow long term holders to accumulate and hold which will have a hidden impact on the issue price. Indirectly NMS will cause the price to rise and add stability. I have margined and lost but also margined to higher gains. The margin gains have far outweighed the losses each year. The gain or loss is compouned by margin. The proability of a higher percentage of gains is what makes margin use so popular. I am always margined to some extent. I expect TPRO to see double digits soon after NMS listing (IMO before the end of Jan 98) if the company is able to keep interest in the issue. If we can see 200K or more average daily volume the traders will be back which draws interest. I have (got caught with) 10K of TPRO at 6 1/8 used only for trading, not a large amount but is kept seperate from my shares being held. When the movement of even 1/4 - 3/8 or more weekly begins again it is a good amount for pizza and pop money. Add a little excitement to the day/week also. Plus the fact it is a small amount at a price that will be son in the dust.

Sandy this stock does not need NMS to reach the teens. Not too long ago a BB stock was in the Teens and recieved NMS to go up another few points. NMS will move the stock higher though because many investors who are maxed out on TPRO will use the margin to buy more TPRO. Institutions will also increase their interest. Finally, individual investors will be able to short the stock and that will give it better stability and the occasional fast run-up on good news.
