..that was tongue in cheek ..have been reading here for years how the greenback's future as the worlds reserve currency was somehow going to be supplanted by something else, the Euro was suggested I have maintained all along that to the extent there is a need for a recognized international medium of exchange that there is no viable contender with sufficient political and economic stability to challenge the dollar ...and that, I am well aware, includes the Euro, Renminbi, Ruble....Drachmas...whatever ..and I am not a hyperpatriotic type regarding the US ..that's simply a sober observation
