Do you think LIFO inventory accounting is O&G subsidy? It's the #1 alleged such subsidy. New technologies and new processes routinely get government support from agencies like DARPA....... That Space Station floating above your head did not come from private money..... The space station doesn't do anything for the oil and gas industry. Ditto for most govt research projects. AFAIC, you can get the govt completely out of anything research oriented for the energy industry ... O&G doesn't need it and certainly is not dependent on it. let's hear your solar investments. I'm well beyond that now, I made my investments in technologies in the 70's ..... INTC, MSFT, HPQ, IBM... Now I go for dividends.......... You should. You'd be stupid investing in solar at this point.
