I don't know if it started out as a fraud; but the hockey stick certainly feels fraudulent today with all of the obfuscation of facts on his part. I really wonder if the time isn't right to press forward with requiring these people to put up or shut up. The argument that, "There's no doubt about it; it is 'settled science', coming from politicians right and left suggests to me that the influx of money to politicians is sufficiently large that the public could be stuck with another War on Drugs or Medicare (with 100s of billions in waste fraud & abuse annually), or worse. They should prove it conclusively or go back to their drawing board.
